This Privacy Policy explains how MotionRecipe (“MotionRecipe,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and application (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
Information we collect
Information you provide
- Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information from Google.
- Prompts and content. The motion descriptions, tweak text, and settings you submit to generate or refine a recipe.
- Payment information. Paid plans are processed by Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card details — Stripe handles payment data directly. We retain limited subscription information (plan, status, and billing identifiers) to manage your account.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data. Your plan and the number of generations you have used, so we can enforce plan limits.
- Local storage & cookies. We use your browser’s local storage and cookies to keep you signed in, remember your anonymous free-generation count, and record whether you’ve seen the onboarding tour. Authentication relies on cookies set by Supabase.
How we use your information
- To provide and operate the Service (generate recipes, render previews, and save your work).
- To create and manage your account and enforce plan limits.
- To process subscriptions and payments through Stripe.
- To improve, secure, and troubleshoot the Service.
- To communicate with you about your account or the Service.
Service providers we share data with
We share information only with the processors needed to run the Service:
- Supabase — authentication and database (your account, plan, usage, and saved recipes).
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing.
- Anthropic — the AI model that generates and refines recipes from the prompts you submit. Your prompt text is sent to Anthropic to produce a result.
- Google — if you choose to sign in with Google (OAuth).
- Vercel — application hosting and delivery.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep account and usage information for as long as your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data at any time using the contact below; some records may be retained as required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email us at support@motionrecipe.com.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
International users
We and our providers may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Effective date” above and, where appropriate, notify you.
